QUANTAM SOLUTIONS DONATES SUPPLIES TO LOCAL ST. VINCENT CATHOLIC CHARITIES' EVENT
St. Catholic Vincent Charities' Holiday Giving Event Drop-Off
This holiday season, Quantam donated some much-needed supplies to St. Vincent Catholic Charities.
St. Vincent Catholic Charities (STVCC) is a non-profit dedicated to human services in the mid-Michigan area. They aspire to improve the quality of life and advance community health through their services such as adoption, foster care, and counseling.
STVCC was founded in 1948 and provides support to people of all beliefs. They partner with children, families and adults living in crisis situations, and support them in re-tracking their lives in a positive direction.
The Quantam Cares Team donated a set of hand/bath towels and washcloths, cleaning supplies, a large stock pot, and some holiday hand towels. STVCC is also always accepting light bulbs, rice cookers, bed sheets, and winter items such as coats and gloves.
Quantam is grateful that this holiday season, STVCC has created their holiday giving donation drop off, focusing on giving not only in-need supplies to families, but also presents from Santa for children. The Quantam Team thanks STVCC for their dedication to mid-Michigan families.

QUANTAM DONATES TO LOCAL FOOD BANK DURING THE THANKSGIVING SEASON

Just in time for the Thanksgiving season, Quantam donated three bags of groceries to the Greater Lansing Food Bank.
The Greater Lansing Food Bank (GLFB) provides emergency food to families, children, retirees, veterans, and anyone at risk. GLFB gets their food from retailers, the USDA, food producers, purchased goods, and from food drives/donations.
GLFB currently serves seven counties within mid-Michigan: Clinton, Eaton, Ingham, Clare, Isabella, Gratiot, and Shiawassee. This covers 3,990 square miles! GLFB have 20 full-time staffers at their warehouse location, who are dedicated to helping their community. In 2016, the GLFB team travelled over 126,000 miles to pick up and deliver food.
The Quantam Cares Team donated canned fruits and vegetables, canned beans, Hamburger Helper meals, granola bars, and other non-perishable food. Other items that GLFB always needs includes: pasta, soup (canned and boxed), baby food and baby formula, muffin and pancake mixes, and canned fish.
This Thanksgiving, Quantam is thankful for the men and women who work and volunteer for the GLFB, and who dedicate their time to giving back to families and individuals in need living in the mid-Michigan area.

NO TRICKS, QUANTAM BRINGS TREATS TO BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB OF LANSING

The Quantam Cares Team donated a bag of supplies to the Boys and Girls Club of Lansing this Halloween.
The Boys and Girls Club of Lansing’s mission is to inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need them most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens. The organization can accomplish their mission through their five Core Program Areas: Education and Career Development; Character and Leadership Development; Sports and Recreation; Health and Fitness; and the Arts.
Just a few programs that the club provides are: meal programs both in during the school year and the summer; physical recreation in their gymnasium; social recreation in their Junior Games Room, designed for ages 7-12; and a Teen Room, dedicated to teens aged 13-17.
The Quantam Cares Team donated art supplies, like pencils, pens, markers, and colored pencils; a brand new Sorry! board game; and a new basketball and kickball for the recreation room. The team is sure that all donated items will be used for a great cause, and thank the Boys and Girls Club of Lansing for offering amazing services to local children and teens.

QUANTAM SUPPLIES BOX OF SUPPLIES TO HURRICANE HARVEY DONATION DRIVE

The Quantam Cares team donated a box of supplies to a donation drive, created by Oakland County, for victims of Hurricane Harvey.
Deputy County Executive Phil Bertolini coordinated this effort. Earlier this year, his brother retired from the Houston Police Department. The donation collection took place Tuesday, September 5 through Sunday, September 10. Oakland County will start the long drive to Texas the week of September 18th, as Houston currently is not ready to receive supplies.
Hurricane Harvey made landfall in south-central Texas on August 25th as a Category 4 hurricane, with 130-mph winds, heavy rains, and massive storms. Harvey managed to affect states as far as Tennessee and Kentucky with abnormally heavy rainfall before completely dissipating.
Supplies that Oakland County collected included: pet supplies, diapers and diaper cream, small toys, soap, sunscreen and bug spray, Ziploc bags, flashlights, and more non-food, water, or clothing items.
The Quantam Cares Team donated a large box filled with toothbrushes, batteries, band-aids, feminine hygiene products, disinfectant wipes, nail clippers, and other supplies. The Team sends warm wishes along with the box of supplies to those affected by Hurricane Harvey, and thank Oakland County for putting together a great donation drive.

QUANTAM DONATES TO LOCAL WOMEN'S SHELTER
This month, the Quantam Cares Team is back in Lansing and giving to local organizations. The team was happy to donate supplies to the Women’s Center of Great Lansing.

The Women’s Center of Great Lansing is a private, non-profit community organization that has helped thousands of women since opening in 2005. The Center’s mission is committed to providing valuable, innovative resources and services in an atmosphere that fosters mutual support, insight and growth for women of all backgrounds and ages as they strive to realize their own unique potential.
The Center offers a wide range of services, such as career counseling; individual, couples, marriage, and family therapy; resume and cover letter preparation; economic education and planning; professional clothes closet and many more! That staff is mostly volunteers and interns; and they always welcome donations, whether monetary or other. Some items that they look for are cleaning supplies (especially disinfectant wipes), liquid soap, paper products (paper towels, toilet paper, tissue), and garbage bags. QUANTAM CONTRIBUTES TO THE RENOVATION OF FRANKFORT, KENTUCKY

Quantam Solutions’ Quantam Cares Team contributed to the restoration of historical buildings in the great capital city of Kentucky – Frankfort! Quantam’s newest Kentucky Office was renovated from a historical house owned by a local family in the 1800s.
Sitting right next to the popular Bourbon on Main restaurant, Quantam’s newest office is a historical house that has been renovated into Kentucky Quantam’s office space. This building is the oldest surviving stone house in the entire city of Frankfort. It was built in the early 1800s, and made of patterned river limestone. In 1840, the house was expanded, and a decade later was used as a boarding home.
The house is also geographically within the boundaries of the National Register of Historic Places District. Historical districts are defined by the National Park Service. The National Register of Historic Places District recognizes historically and architecturally significant places across all 50 states!
Projects completed within the National Register of Historic Places Districts promote culturally-rich communities while simultaneously encouraging change that allow for contemporary use of historic buildings.
Quantam Solutions chose this setting for their newest office not only for convenient walking distance to some of Kentucky’s greatest small businesses, but also to contribute to the rebuilding of the extraordinary, historical city of Frankfort, Kentucky. Both Quantam Solutions and the Quantam Cares team look forward to the expansion into Frankfort, and hope to become part of the wonderful community filled with vibrant and passionate people.

QUANTAM GIVES GROCERIES TO EMERGENCY COMMUNITY FOOD PANTRY OF FRANKLIN COUNTY

New adventures brought the Quantam Cares team into a new community this month – Frankfort, Kentucky! The team was excited to donate groceries to the local Emergency Community Food Pantry of Franklin County.
The Emergency Community Food Pantry has been in operation since 1982, and is completely staffed by volunteers; there are no paid staff members! The organization receives donations from churches, social groups, businesses, and families from the community. All monetary donations go towards buying more groceries to serve over 8,000 people per year.
There are 25 basic grocery items that the Emergency Community Food Pantry provides. Their “Most Expensive Grocery Items Provided” list consists of only three things: meat, peanut butter, and canned tuna fish. The food pantry accepts grocery donations Monday through Friday, from 1-2pm.
The Quantam Cares team donated a few bags full of non-perishable food items, such as cereal, canned vegetables, and pasta. Other items that the shelter accepts include canned fruit, oatmeal, nuts, and granola bars.
Quantam is grateful for all of the volunteers at Emergency Community Food Pantry and the countless hours of work they put in to help the Franklin County community.

QUANTAM DONATES FOOD AND COLLARS TO CAPITAL AREA HUMANE SOCIETY

The Quantam Cares team was happy to visit and donate much needed supplies to mid-Michigan’s local animal shelter, Capital Area Humane Society.
Capital Area Humane Society (CAHS) is a local and independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, that is not affiliated with any regional, statewide, or national organization. Their mission? Promote the humane treatment of companion animals through protection, placement, education and example. Because they are a non-government agency, they receive zero dollar through tax funding, and rely heavily on donations.
CAHS offers more than just adoptions. The organization has a Spay and Neuter Clinic in Lansing, which is essential in the prevention of unwanted litters of kittens and puppies. CAHS also holds events, such as the CAHS Fur Ball Gala and Holiday Open House – these events help to raise money or awareness of the shelter within the mid-Michigan community. Educational programs at CAHS include a variety of programs for kids ages 4-16.
Quantam appreciates the employees and volunteers’ hard work and commitment to help save homeless animals through education, protection, placement, and example.

QUANTAM DONATES BOOKS TO MADISON ELEMENTARY CLASSROOM

The Quantam Cares team had the pleasure of donating new books to a second-grade classroom at Madison Elementary School.
Many school districts are facing tighter budgets and most teachers pay for standard supplies like notebooks, pencils, erasers, and even reading materials out of their own pocket. We hope that the donation helps ease this burden and makes learning more fun. The classroom that received the books is home to 24 caring, unique, and energetic second-grade students. These students are exploring a reading unit about informational text topics of their interest. The books will be used by the students both when they read independently and in small groups.
Quantam greatly values the dedication and devotion teachers have for our youth. Teachers shoulder a great deal of financial responsibility with often limited personal financial resources. Those in a position to provide donations, materials, or volunteer time to express support and solidarity for our educators during changing times would be much appreciated! QUANTAM DELIVERS BAGELS TO ROYAL OAK FIRE DEPARTMENT

The Quantam Cares team delivered bagels and coffee to the Royal Oak Fire Department Station No. 2 to show their appreciation. Royal Oak has three fire departments. Combined, they respond to thousands of incidents including public assistance, fire alarms and emergency medical assistance.
The Royal Oak Fire Department’s mission is to protect the property and lives of the city’s residents by reducing the effects of medical emergencies, fire, technical rescue emergencies, hazardous material incidents and disasters. They use preemptive measures such as public education, fire code enforcement, investigation, and inspections to prevent fires. They also respond quickly to eliminate fires with the use of well-equipped and highly trained firefighters.
Quantam is thankful for the time and hard work Royal Oak Firefighters dedicate to keep the city safe.

QUANTAM GIVES THANKS TO LITTLE DRESSES FOR AFRICA

The Quantam Cares team had the pleasure donating a Jo-Ann Fabrics gift card to Little Dresses for Africa, a non-profit organization that distributes handmade dresses for children living in Africa. Dresses and pillow cases are made from loving hands all over the world and at their very own shop located in Brownstown, Michigan.
Founded in 2008 by Rachel O’Neill, Little Dresses for Africa’s mission is to provide relief to vulnerable children surrounding and throughout Africa reaching 81 countries. Volunteers from all over the world join together to make the dresses and then they are donated. Little Dresses for Africa sends the donated dresses through mission teams or mails them directly to verified communities. Overall the organization has distributed over 4.5 million dresses and counting!
Quantam Cares would like to give thanks to Little Dresses for Africa and their continued effort in making a difference in Africa's youth.

The Quantam Cares team is proud to have donated once again to the State of Michigan’s Adopt-A-Family event. The State of Michigan’s Department of Technology, Management and Budget (DTMB) sponsored an Adopt-A-Family event at its executive office in Lansing. Those who contributed to the event helped three families in need for the holiday season.
Quantam Cares donated canned goods and hygiene products for all three families! It is our continued effort to take action and to be a part of the solution, which starts with taking care of the people in our community! We would like to thank the DTMB in sponsoring these families and Quantam Cares looks forward to participating again next year!

QUANTAM CONTRIBUTES TO "TREATS FOR TROOPS"

The Quantam Cares team contributed to Oakland County Sheriff’s Office annual “Treats for Troops” candy drive. The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office has collaborated with the community for donations of candy for troops serving overseas as a thank you and encouragement. The candy will be supplied to troops for a sweet holiday treat! The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office is the largest “full service” sheriff’s office in the State of Michigan. With jurisdiction of over 1.2 million residents, the Sheriff’s office contracts in 15 different communities. The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office is dedicated to the safety and protection of their citizens and business. With continued efforts in supporting their community, the Sheriff’s office also holds other charitable events throughout the year such as Coats for the Cold Coat Drive and Operation Medicine Cabinet.

QUANTAM DONATES SPORTS EQUIPMENT TO DETROIT PAL

The Quantam Cares team donated sports equipment to the Detroit’s Police Athletic League (PAL), a Michigan based organization dedicated to creating a safe and supportive place for kids to play, as well as training and certifying volunteers each year to become encouraging coaches and mentors to Detroit’s youth.
Founded in 1969, the biggest names in Detroit sports led Detroit’s PAL giving children an opportunity to learn through athletics to develop confidence and motivation to succeed far in life. Later in 1996 two lawyers, Mike Tenbusch and Dan Varner who founded “Think Detroit” collaborated with “Detroit’s Police Athletic League” to create an alternative for Detroit’s youth sport leagues which resulted in the birth of “Detroit PAL.”
Detroit’s PAL impacts more than 12,000 children per year with the support of over 1,700 volunteers creating over ten sport programs! The Quantam Cares team is honored to support Detroit’s PAL in hopes to bring more awareness to this organization and to help them continue making a difference in Detroit’s youth community.

QUANTAM CARES DELIVERS THANKS TO ALTERNATING HEMIPLEGIA OF CHILDHOOD FOUNDATION

Another continued effort from the Quantam Cares team giving back to our community. The team visited our friends at Alternating Hemiplegia of Childhood Foundation (AHCF) delivering gift cards from Dunkin Donuts to show our appreciation to the dynamic group of parents with children who have Alternating Hemiplegia Childhood (AHC). These parents advocate for their children and other to have a better quality of life. Their commitment in promoting proper diagnosis, educating healthcare professionals and public organizations is unmeasurable.
AHC is a rare neurological disorder often associated with triggers that result in random attacks, that paralysis portions of the body and creates loss of feeling and movement. AHCF has created awareness throughout our community and across the country for over 20 years resulting in funding over $1.8M in AHC research.
AHCF relies heavily on donations to fulfill their mission of funding research and education. The Quantam Cares team is happy to pay it forward to the parents and staff at AHCF, who continue to work and improve the lives of all people with AHC and one day hopefully finding a cure!

QUANTAM CARES DONATES FOOD TO GLEANERS COMMUNITY FOOD BANK
The Quantam Cares team delivered non-perishable food items to the Gleaners Community Food Bank Distribution Center in Warren. The donation will help provide nourishment to our hungry neighbors throughout the Metro Detroit area in over 535 partner soup kitchens, shelters and food pantries.
In April 1977, Gene Gonya co-founded Gleaners with the mission of soliciting surplus food and storing it safely to distribute to agencies that provide to hungry communities. Gleaners was among the first food banks in the United States. Today, Gleaners has developed a reliable and efficient method for handing large quantities of food, collecting 34.5 million pounds of food a year and distributing close to 80,000 meals per day. Gleaners has five distribution centers in Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Livingston and Monroe counties bringing food closer to the table for those in need.
With support from other agencies, volunteers, and program partners, Gleaners is able to collect millions of pounds of donated food and distribute the food to our neighbors in need. The Quantam Cares team is proud to have donated to Gleaners, supporting their mission of “feeding hungry people and nourishing our communities.”

QUANTAM VOLUNTEERS AT ARTS & SCRAPS

The Quantam Cares team had the pleasure of volunteering their time organizing materials for children’s creation kits with Arts and Scraps. Located in Detroit, Michigan, Arts and Scraps constructs “kits” from recycled industrial materials, inspiring children to think, create and learn. Arts and Scraps provides recycled scraps at minimal cost to over 3,000 organizations/classrooms annually, thus impacting over 275,000 children. Founded in 1989, Arts and scraps continues to support and educate the Detroit community targeting children living in low income areas.
Since creating the organization, Arts and Scraps receives over 12,000 documented volunteer hours, and recycled materials from over 200 Detroit areas business and individuals to assist in providing “quality educational and creative experiences to underprivileged children in Metropolitan Detroit while minimizing a negative impact on the environment”.
The Quantam Cares team organized creation kits out of recycled materials such as airplanes, dream catchers and robots. The Quantam Cares team is honored to have had the opportunity to support Arts and Scraps in making a continued effort in Metropolitan Detroit and looks forward to helping again.

QUANTAM CARES DONATES CLOTHING TO THE YOUNG WOMEN'S CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION

The Quantam Cares team donated women’s clothing to women in need that are confronted with racial, ethnic, gender, domestic or sexual assault with the support of the Young Women’s Christian Association (YWCA.) The YWCA was created for community support nationally and internationally. Joining this national movement of 1893, David Whitney and fifteen other women founded the YWCA of Detroit and birthed their first program “Lunch for Under a Nickel.” This program supported working girls that provided an afternoon rest and sandwich for only three cents.
Over a hundred years later the YWCA now provides safe housing and counseling for women and children, affordable childcare for working moms and educational and recreational opportunities.
The Quantam Cares team collected and delivered gently used women’s clothing to YWCA. The clothing will be supplied to women in need across the Metro Detroit area. The Quantam Cares team thanks YWCA for their continued efforts in making a difference in our community and lending a helping hand to women and children in our local communities and across the country.

QUANTAM HOSTS INTERNAL BOOK DRIVE FOR RX FOR READING DETROIT

The Quantam Cares team hosted a month-long internal book drive during the month of March for National Reading Month. The collected children’s books were donated by Quantam employees to Rx for Reading Detroit, a program started by University of Detroit Mercy students and staff.
RRD is a non-profit organization that collects children’s books from the surrounding communities and disperses new and used books to low-income health facilities, Head Start Programs, schools, and homeless shelters. In hopes for increasing literacy rates in children across Michigan, Rx for Reading Detroit offers healthy reading strategies and support for families to integrate reading into their everyday lives.
Providing over 30,000 books to children in need, Rx for Reading Detroit is committed to expanding access to high-quality children’s books, supporting parents and families in reading to their children, and creating reading relationships between young adults and younger children in the community. The Quantam Cares team is proud to assist Rx for Reading Detroit in their initiative and helping make a brighter future for children across our local communities.

QUANTAM DONATES TOYS TO CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL

The Quantam Cares team delivered toys and games today to the Children’s Hospital of Michigan at the Detroit Medical Center. The donations will help provide activities and entertainment for the children currently receiving treatment at the hospital.
The Children’s Hospital of Michigan treats more children than anyone else in the state. The facility has an international reputation in pediatric medicine and more pediatricians than any other facility in Michigan. We are fortunate to have them in our own backyard. The doctors there dedicate their lives to improving the health and well-being of the youngest generation.
The Quantam Cares team wishes each child a quick recovery, and hopes that the donation of toys and games will help brighten their day. Quantam Cares thanks the staff at the Children’s Hospital of Michigan for making this possible.

QUANTAM PROVIDES SCHOOL SUPPLIES

The Quantam Cares team took a field trip to the Detroit Achievement Academy (DAA) to deliver school supplies and acknowledge the staff and students. The DAA is a free public charter school currently serving kindergarten through third grade students.
At the DAA, the classroom instruction focuses on developing and nurturing the whole child through a commitment to mastery of knowledge and skills, character development, and high-quality student work. They are proud to be an “Expeditionary Learning” school that focuses on providing students with innovative “learning expeditions”. This style of instruction supports teaching all subjects through the lens of a broader topic, so students learn in the context of the community and the world in which they live. Through learning expeditions, students engage in fieldwork, community service, and work with experts to complete in-depth studies.
Relying on donations for over half of the DAA’s operating budget, Quantam is honored to help support these dedicated teachers and students.

QUANTAM PULLS OVER FOR THE MICHIGAN STATE POLICE

The Quantam Cares team pulled over to recognize the men and women at the Michigan State Police (MSP) post in Oak Park, equipped with lunch to show our gratitude for their hard work and devotion to protecting the citizens of Michigan. MSP Metro Post No. 21 in Oak Park has over 120 troopers who serve Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb counties.
MSP became a permanent force on April 19, 1917. Since then, the State Police has become a modern-day law enforcement agency using the latest up-to-date training and technology to help protect our fellow Michiganders.
The Quantam Cares team thanks the Michigan State Police troopers for their devotion in keeping the citizens of our state safe.

QUANTAM DONATES SUITS TO UNEMPLOYED VETERANS

The Quantam Cares team donated suits to unemployed veterans currently seeking jobs within Michigan with the support of John Hayhoe and the Holt Kiwanis and the assistance of McDonald Tailoring, John Hayhoe and the Holt Kiwanis started the drive for veterans who are in need of suits to get back on their feet by finding employment. With the assistance of Bill McDonald, former veteran and owner of McDonald Tailoring, veterans can also receive tailoring to the suit to ensure a proper fit free of charge.
Quantam Cares hosted an internal suit drive at both Detroit and Lansing offices and employees from both offices, donated their gently used suits, to help veterans feel and look good in order to find employment. The suits were then dropped off to John Hayhoe and Holt Kiwanis. Quantam Cares thanks John Hayhoe and the Holt Kiwanis for starting the “Suits for Vets” suite drive and look forward to donating again in future.

Quantam Serves the Homeless with I Am My Brother’s Keeper

The Quantam Cares team had the pleasure of serving the homeless hot meals with I Am My Brother’s Keeper Ministry. Located in Detroit, Michigan, I Am My Brother’s Keeper provides food and shelter to families in need through their Fed & Bed Program. Every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, I Am My Brother’s Keeper invites those in need to share in a hot meal and to get out of the cold. With continued efforts since 1992, the ministry works to fulfill the word of the late Pastor Henry Covington, helping those who are unable to help themselves. Since starting the program, countless citizens from the surrounding Detroit area come to the ministry on a weekly basis to assist by assembling meals and donating gifts of money to support the ministry’s mission.
Quantam Cares applauds the good work of I Am My Brother’s Keeper and their unwavering dedication to helping those who are unable to help themselves. Quantam Cares is honored to have had the opportunity to help the less fortunate with I Am My Brother’s Keeper and looks forward to serving again in the near future.

Quantam Gives Back to Troops

The Quantam Cares team was honored to send a care package to U.S. military personnel serving overseas with the help of Operation Gratitude. Quantam sent a box of hygiene products, games, candy, and thank you cards to the men and women who selflessly serve our country. Quantam Cares organized a company-wide effort for employees to get involved and donate items needed by the troops.
Operation Gratitude is an organization that assists in sending care packages to veterans, first responders, wounded warriors, and deployed troops overseas. With the help of citizens from across the country, Operation Gratitude collect a variety of essential items like used cell phones, homemade scarves and bracelets, and thank you cards. Operation Gratitude sends 150,000+ care packages annually to help support those who serve for our country. Their mission is to lift spirits and meet the needs of our active military members. Since the organization was founded in 2003, Operation Gratitude has shipped more than one million care packages.
Quantam Cares team is proud to have partnered with Operation Gratitude in supporting their mission of supporting and providing thanks to our troops.

Quantam Gives Adopt A Pup Animal Rescue Wagging Tails
The Quantam Cares team threw a bone to Adopt A Pup animal rescue, a Michigan-based organization dedicated to helping animals who are running out of time in shelters, as well as those who are in neglectful or abusive situations. The Quantam Cares believes in giving back to everyone, including our four legged friends.The team donated many needed items such as toys, blankets, treats, office supplies and dog food. Assisting in the delivery was Bella the Dog, one of the many Quantam Family fur-members. Bella was excited to assist her fellow canine friends in need. Located in both the Metro-Detroit and Lansing area, Adopt A Pup not only focuses on Michigan dogs, but dogs all over the country helping them find their forever homes. Adopt A Pup specializes in finding foster parents or new homes for the dogs they assist. Quantam Cares hopes that by donating and bringing awareness to this great organization it will help them conquer their mission. Quantam Cares team thanks Adopt A Pup for their committed love and support to help canines in our community and across the country.

quantam warms up detroit firefighters

The Quantam Cares team delivered a Christmas stocking full of Starbucks gift cards to the heroic men and women who work at Fire Station Engine No. 1 in the City of Detroit. The Detroit Fire Department responds to 165,000 emergency calls a year, responding to over 9,000 fires and over 100,000 medical emergency calls annually. Firefighters selflessly put their lives on the line every day to protect us and our loved ones. This is just one of the many reasons why Quantam Cares chose to surprise the station as one of their random act of kindness.
Fire Station Engine No. 1 originated in 1860 near Detroit’s East Side and then relocated in May 1991 near Comerica Baseball Park. There are a total of 44 fire stations in the City of Detroit, including Detroit Fire Headquarters. In total there are 38 engine companies, 22 ladder companies, six squad companies, and 24 medic units within the city. Quantam Cares team is honored to pay it forward to the team at Fire Station Engine No. 1 in hopes to warm up their day with a cup of coffee!

Quantam adopts a family for the christmas season
Gifts for the family of three, wrapped and ready to go
The Quantam Cares team has partnered with Courage Church of Detroit to provide Christmas gifts to a family in need through the Angel Tree Program. Quantam Cares adopted a family of three and provided them with gifts including hygiene and household essentials, groceries, gift cards, clothing, holiday gift baskets and new toys.
The Angel Tree Program is part of the Prison Fellowship Organization. Angel Tree was founded in 1982 by an ex-prisoner who was unable to connect with their children during Christmas. Angel Tree is an outreach specifically geared toward helping connect parents in prison with their children by giving a loving message and gifts on Christmas. The Angel Tree Program partners with churches in the Metro Detroit area to provide those in need with a Christmas to remember.
The Quantam Cares team is happy to have joined in bringing holiday cheer to those in need this Christmas season.

QUANTAM Spreads HOLIDAY CHEER TO Seniors with alzheimer's and Dementia

The Quantam Cares team had a heartwarming experience visiting Brookdale Senior Living Solutions. Quantam provided fresh baked goods and smiles on the faces that deserve it most. Brookdale Senior Living Solutions is a senior living community that offers Alzheimer’s and Dementia care to their residents. Brookdale’s Alzheimer’s and Dementia solution program serves special care needs of individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of Dementia.
Quantam Cares is happy to spread some holiday cheer to the seniors and staff at Brookdale. The Quantam Cares team thanks the staff at Brookdale for all their hard work and love that goes into taking care of each and every patient.

QUANTAM BRINGS HOLIDAY CHEER TO THE CLAWSON POLICE DEPARTMENT

Another continued effort from the Quantam Cares team giving back to our community. The team paid a visit to our friends at the Clawson Police Department armed with coffee and donuts to show our appreciation for their dedication to ensuring our communities are safe. The Clawson Police Force has made the town of 12,000 citizens one of the 50 safest cities in Michigan.
The City of Clawson is a friendly community that has a 2.2-square-mile radius. They have many traditions that keep the small-town atmosphere alive, including the Fourth of July celebration, Lion’s Club Car Show, Cinema in the Street, their weekly seasonal Farmers Market, and many more. Clawson is known by its local community as the “Little City with a Big Heart”.

Quantam Cares team is proud to be able to assist Michigan families in need by providing an abundant Christmas for them this year. The Quantam Cares team adopted a family of four through the Salvation Army’s Adopt-A-Family, teaming up with the State of Michigan’s Department of Technology, Management & Budget (DTMB) Director’s Office and DTMB Financial Services.
Quantam provided the family of four with hygiene products, non-perishable food items, and toys for the children.

Quantam Contribution to Oakland County’s “Coats for the Cold” A Success
The Quantam Cares team is honored to be a part of Oakland County Sheriff’s Office annual "Coats for the Cold" Coat Drive. The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office has teamed up with community organizations for donation drop-off sites for gently used and new coats. Theses coats will be supplied to adults, children and families across Oakland County.
In response, Quantam Cares team held an internal coat drive at its Metro Detroit office to allow employees to lend a helping hand in assisting Michigan families stay warm this winter. The coats donated by Quantam team members were then dropped off to a drop-off site.
Quantam Cares would like to thank the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office for facilitating the “Coats for the Cold” Coat Drive and looks forward to participating again next year.

Quantam Donates to the Food Bank Council of Michigan’s Harvest Gathering

The Quantam Cares team is proud to make a donation to the Food Bank Council of Michigan during the Harvest Gathering through the State of Michigan’s Department of State. The Food Bank Council of Michigan coordinates the Harvest Gathering, which supplies the State’s regional food banks through donations. These food banks supply non-perishable items to food pantries, soup kitchens and shelters in every Michigan County.
Quantam Cares believes that every person and family deserves to have food on their table. It is our continued effort to take action and be a part of the solution, which starts with taking care of the people in our community. The Quantam Cares team is honored to partner with the Food Bank Council of Michigan and to participate in the Harvest Gathering by supporting Michigan families in need.
