Jessica Moy, Vice President of Business Development, attended the 2016 Michigan Government Digital Summit Conference held at the Lansing Center in downtown Lansing. The Michigan Government Digital Summit is an annual event to help foster best practices throughout the public sector.

The summit has an advisory board that gathers both public and private sector leaders to create an agenda designed specifically for the state and local government organizations that attend the summit. The conference is intended to assist in organizations and the attendees in reaching and advancing their goals. Inspired by keynote speakers, leadership discussions, breakout sessions and networking, the conference spurs innovation in the public sector.

QUANTAM WELCOMES DARREN ELLIOTT AS VICE PRESIDENT OF DELIVERY

Quantam gives a warm welcome to welcome Darren Elliott, who joins our Delivery team as Vice President of Delivery. Darren brings more than 25 years of professional experience, including 12 years in project management, software development and systems integration. Darren’s extensive background working with government agencies in managing large scale technology projects and assisting agency management with the supervision of project budgets funded by taxpayer dollars.

Darren is a certified Project Manager Professional (PMP). He has several years of experience in the legal and legislative fields with a law degree from Georgetown University Law Center, along with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Michigan State University. Darren has served as an intelligence officer in the United States Navy (Reserve) for more than 10 years and also spent 10 years of his career as an investment banker focused in part, on financing technology projects for Michigan’s schools, cities, and counties. With his experience, Darren will be a great asset to Quantam and our clients.

Quantam Expands to Wisconsin Providing Contact Center Solutions

Quantam has expanded to Wisconsin to provide the State of Wisconsin with contact center solutions. The State of Wisconsin works with Quantam to reinstate CCA services by providing interaction workspace for softphone controls while delivering SIP server calls to gateways that will transport calls to agent lines. The State of Wisconsin Departments of Human Services, Revenue and Transportation contact centers will all go through Genesys and Quantam’s project assurance life cycle with analysis, design, build and deploy stages and will be implemented throughout the project phase. 

The State of Wisconsin’s Contact Center Anywhere (CCA) and Centrex delivers contact center services and telephony to multiple state agencies. In an effort to improve services, on CCA approaching product end-life.

Quantam Expands to California

Quantam has expanded to California working with Airbnb. Quantam is providing an unmatched level of professional services. Quantam is providing program management to lead an implementation effort to take the client from a Cloud base to a premise contact center.

Based out of California, Airbnb is a world-renowned public community marketplace for people to list and reserve accommodations around the globe. With 190 countries and over 2,000,000 listings, it’s easy for anyone to find a home or castle for a month or just a night.

The Quantam Program Director is overseeing the Cloud-base implementation project guiding the client to a premise transfer solution. Working with a team of 80 employees, the year-long project will result in premise contact center for data platforming.

Quantam offers an array of professional services ranging from project and program management, cybersecurity, procurement services, IV&V quality assurance, application lifecycle services, cloud services, and contact center solutions.  Quantam is excited about the expansion across the country and having Erik Hollman on our team.

Quantam is a proud sponsor of this year’s Children’s Trust Fund of Michigan Pam Posthumus Signature Auction Event. The Children’s Trust Fund of Michigan (CTF) hosts the annual event to raise funds to support their mission of preventing child abuse and neglect.

The CTF serves as a voice for Michigan’s children and families and promotes their health, safety, and welfare by funding effective local programs and services that prevent child abuse and neglect. Established in 1982 by the Michigan Legislature, the CTF has served over 500,000 families and 2.5 million children in all of Michigan’s 83 counties. The CTF funds over 73 local child abuse and neglect prevention councils and supports 21 community-based nonprofit, direct services programs across the state. The CTF is Michigan’s only statewide nonprofit organization solely dedicated to preventing child abuse and neglect.

This year’s Pam Posthumus Signature Auction Event raised more than $470,000 in donations, and Quantam is honored to support such a notable cause. Quantam looks forward to supporting the event again next year and assisting the CTF advance its cause to prevent child abuse and neglect across Michigan.

Karen Buckwalter Joins Quantam as Vice President of Business Development

Quantam is pleased to announce the newest addition to the team, Karen Buckwalter, who joins Quantam as Vice President of Business Development. Karen brings over 25 years of program and project management experience leading strategic, information technology and research initiatives in financial, government, and automotive environments. Her experience includes strong senior leadership and project portfolio governance as well as project delivery leveraging Project Management Institute (PMI) based methodologies to lead a wide variety of programs and projects from initiation through closeout. Most recently, Karen served as Project Management Team Manager, Senior Program and Project Manager at the Municipal Employees’ Retirement System (MERS).

While at MERS, Karen led a team of project managers responsible for implementing the most complex, high risk, and high profile programs and projects. She was accountable for the MERS portfolio of projects using MERS-specific change control and resource management methods and tools. Karen’s extensive and successful professional experience along with her strong set of leadership and communication skills will be a beneficial investment to Quantam. We are thrilled to have Karen join the team!

Richard Staten Becomes Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Quantam Solutions

Richard Staten has been named as Partner, Chairman, and Chief Executive Officer of Quantam Solutions. He has recreated an existing business model from competitive IT Staff Augmentation to a Business and Information Technology Consulting Firm with a full service offering ranging from Application Lifecycle to IV&V and Quality Assurance. Richard’s plan for the year 2016 is to continue the proven growth already seen in the company since he began in 2015. With having a significant expansion of the services, new departments dedicated to both the clients and employees, and new partnerships, Quantam has begun the New Year at an excitingly fast pace.

 

Richard brings over 21 years of experience in public and private sectors, having held positions as Chief Executive Officer, Vice President, Executive Director, Operations Director, and IT Director. Richard brings a unique set of real-life functional skills and technical proficiencies. He has guided complex, large-scale efforts in operations, programs, portfolios, and applications management overseeing large scale implementations over $200M and divisions that generated revenue of over $800M annually. With Richard’s experienced leadership, he will provide innovation and guidance to take Quantam IT Consulting Services to new levels.

Steven Motz Joins Quantam as Manager IN Procurement Practice

Quantam would like to announce the addition of Steven Motz, who joins as Manager of Quantam’s Procurement Practice. Steven brings over 10 years’ of procurement expertise with experience in drafting Statements of Work and Request for Proposals. His experience includes establishing and managing project timelines for Request for Proposals and serving as the single point of contact for all procurement related issues. Most recently, Steven served as the Purchasing Manager of the Office of Departmental Services Purchasing Section at the State of Michigan.

While with the State of Michigan, Steven developed Treasury Request of Proposals in collaboration with the Department of Technology, Management and Budget for complex Information Technology procurements, including leading the Statement of Work development activities and working with purchasing staff to ensure timelines are met and the solution meets the needs of Treasury. Additionally, Steven managed the Treasury staff through the assignment of work and through training and education on the state procurement process. Steven brings valuable experience to Quantam and we look forward to having him as part of the team!

Jessica Moy Joins Quantam as Vice President of Business Development

Quantam gives a warm welcome to Jessica Moy, who is joining our Business Development Practice as Vice President. Jessica brings over 20 years of experience in business development across academic, government, and private sectors. She has successfully led an entrepreneurial consulting organization that provided comprehensive Information Technology and Geospatial Technology Services to Government, Educational, other not-for profit, and private-industry clientele. Most recently, Jessica served as the Director of the Office of External Partnerships, Center for Shared Solutions at the State of Michigan.

While with the State of Michigan, Jessica extensively managed the business relationship throughout the customer lifecycle, strategically aligning technology initiatives to exceed customer expectations. Additionally, Jessica has extensive experience in business administration and budgeting, facilitating positive customer relationships, driving decisions and communicating outcomes. Jessica’s experience brings a valuable addition to Quantam and we are glad to have her as part of our team!

Ron Jacob Joins Quantam as CRM Practice Director

One of Quantam’s newest additions includes Ron Jacob who joins our team as the CRM Practice Director. Ron brings with him 25 years of experience in the Business and Information Technology field. He has 15 years of CRM experience, as well as ten years’ experience in Microsoft Dynamics CRM. Ron has successfully conquered many challenges in a variety of roles on different projects. He has taken several startup companies and turned them into multi-million dollar operations. Ron’s unique skillset make him an extremely valuable asset, and we look forward to having him on the team.  

Kent Pate Joins Quantam as Microsoft Practice Director

Kent has over 20 years of experience designing and deploying Enterprise Infrastructure Solutions for both large global companies and domestic state and local governments. Kent has provided guidance to CIOs, CTOs, and Directors while leading teams consisting of IT administrators to deliver world class Enterprise Infrastructure Solutions. Kent also has extensive experience in developing and performing numerous complex migration solutions to assist clients in consolidating their directory and e-mail environments while transitioning to different technology platforms. Kent’s expertise and diverse background make him an extremely valuable asset and we are excited to have him as a part of our team!
