Provide professional, administrative and technical services to a security department in a federal governmental agency. Provide support for personnel security, industrial security, program security, physical security, security training and special access programs. Accommodate various workload demands in these areas for the government customer with a high degree of responsiveness.
Job Duties:
- Install, repair, replace and make modifications on a variety of cameras, access control boards, card-swipe readers, panic alarm devices, door alarms, electric and mechanic locks
- Test all installed electronic security equipment to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturer/SNBC requirements
- Issue access ID cards and maintain records of all persons having electronic access to areas
- Interface with other life safety systems such as fire and panic alarms
- Adjust, repair and replace various locks and locking devices including cylinder locks on doors and padlocks
- Assist to establish and maintain the site key systems to include sub-master and grand master systems and their safekeeping
- Assist Brewery Security Officers with patrolling the property to ensure the safety and protection of guests, employees and company property
- Enforce company policies as they pertain to guest and employee conduct on the premises
- Document infractions and advise management where appropriate
- Respond to all emergencies such as medical, fire, injuries, property damage, etc.; investigate and complete reports concerning the same
- During serious emergencies, may be assigned to assist in the evacuation of the facility
- Perform other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience with IIS, Microsoft security protocol and operations, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft administrative tools, Group Policy, and Active Directory
- Strong desktop and general network administration skill set
- Experience with SIEM products, vulnerability scanners, firewall reviews, network devices, and intrusion detection/prevention systems
- Familiar with Cisco routing and switching security requirements
- Experience in participating in IT Security audits and remediating findings
- Familiar with NIST, ISO27001 other security standards
- Experience in performing risk assessments
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Information Security, or relevant field
- 5 years of progressive experience
