KAREN BUCKWALTER, VICE PRESIDENT 

Karen Buckwalter is a Vice President at Quantam Solutions, bringing nearly 25 years of program and project management delivery experience. She has previously led strategic, information technology and research initiatives primarily in financial, government, and automotive environments. Karen is an experienced and effective mentor adept at building trust and providing sound, experienced-based guidance and coaching.

Karen’s professional experience includes senior leadership and project portfolio governance as well as project delivery leveraging Project Management Institute (PMI) based methodologies to lead a wide variety of programs and projects from initiation through closeout. She has developed and implemented processes and tools to promote full project portfolio transparency and ensure the organization’s projects are in alignment with the strategic vision and goals. Karen brings Quantam extensive leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Karen obtained her Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Michigan-Dearborn. She earned her Project Management Professional (PMP) certification nearly two decades ago and more recently became a Certified Master Project Manager through Project Management Resource Group. In addition, she is an experienced Crucial Conversations trainer, receiving her certification to teach in 2014.

 
 

DARREN ELLIOTT, VICE PRESIDENT

Darren Elliott is a Vice President of Delivery at Quantam Solutions, bringing more than 25 years of professional experience, including 12 years in project management, software development and systems integration. He has experience working with State of Michigan agencies in managing large scale technology projects and assisting agency management with the supervision of project budgets funded by taxpayer dollars.

Darren served as an intelligence officer in the United States Navy (Reserve) for more than 10 years and also spent 10 years of his career as an investment banker focused, in part, on financing technology projects for Michigan's schools, cities, and counties. He also has several years of experience in the legal and legislative fields.

Darren is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), earned a law degree from Georgetown University Law Center, and attended Michigan State University to obtain his Bachelor's Degree in Economics.
