Senior Project Manager

Summary:

Provides leadership, guidance and/or facilitation on activities related to current initiatives and future business opportunities. The Senior Project Manager serves as a liaison for senior management in ensuring successful outcomes to key initiatives through development, implementation and evaluation activities. The Senior Project Manager may act as a champion, coach or counselor of a project or initiative depending on the stage of the project.

Job Duties:

  • Manages all aspects of preconstruction through contract execution
  • Leads presentation effort and response; finding ways to distinguish ECI from the competition
  • Review subcontractor bids, prepare detailed bid spreadsheets and identify any qualifications or clarifications to bid
  • Have knowledge of general contract and subcontract requirements
  • Manage all aspects of the proposal / bidding process
  • Prepare and issue detailed purchase orders and subcontract agreements
  • Use good judgement and fairness when awarding projects and managing trade contracts to qualified contractors
  • Initiate job start up meetings / weekly progress meetings
  • Prepare budget reports
  • Prepare, track, and negotiate contract change orders
  • Manage the timely and accurate applications for payment to the Owner, and manage ECI cash flow for each project
  • Support Superintendents, safety program, and Safety Director

Skills and Qualifications:

  • PMP Certification
  • Proven ability to influence and lead cross-functional team
  • Strong experience working in a Salesforce environment
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and complex client environment
  • Excellent implementation, management, and customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and group communication skills
  • Experience in or passion for the non-profit and/or higher education market
  • Professional, team oriented with confident personality and a can-do attitude
  • Strong focus on customer success
  • Excellent listening and consultative skills and that enable translation of customer requirements into implementation plans
  • Technical acumen to convert plans into real solutions that last
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and escalate issues
  • Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in project management, information technology, or a related field
  • Five to seven years’ experience coordinating projects, including three years of supervisory experience
