Senior Business Analyst/Consultant

Summary:

Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business requirements and user needs. This individual works together with consultants, Sr. Consultants, and Directors to design and implement systems that parallel overall client business objectives.

 Job Duties:

  • Collaborating with a cross-functional team from several departments and disciplines to deliver on tight timelines in an ambiguous and constantly changing environment
  • Planning, facilitation and follow up for key stakeholder meetings around feature/functionality
  • Conducting requirements elicitation interviews with stakeholders and subject matter experts from various stakeholder groups and resources both within and outside of the company
  • Leading and driving out requirements, estimating work (both duration and effort), developing use case scenarios, impact assessments and cost/benefit analysis working with key stakeholders
  • Drafting, submitting, and tracking change requests for 3rd party vendor software teams that specify stakeholder requirements for enhancements
  • Working closely with stakeholder communities to ensure that requirements for CRM-related initiatives are captured, documented, and accurately reflect intended functionality
  • Working closely with internal and 3rd party vendor software teams to validate features through design reviews and testing
  • Representing the right priority for issues and changes at / during defect management and change management processes. The ideal candidate will have experience gathering and documenting requirements, facilitating meetings, and delivering results

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to focus on details as well as the big picture
  • Ability to work in a client-facing role
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with various stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects with tight deadlines
  • Process mapping, workflow analysis, use case analysis, data modeling, and design tools experience
  • Experience identifying and estimating project tasks
  • Ability to adhere and promote standard business analyst tools, procedures and best practices
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint

 Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics or other similar field with related experience
