Summary:
Provide day-to-day analysis and support for voice, data, and wireless network infrastructure. Prepare daily reports, noting discrepancies and issues within the network. Actively troubleshoot and determine problem resolution on network components. Monitor and report on network conditions including capacity, usage, availability, dropped calls, and mean time to repair. Develop operational documentation and cross training on new and existing technologies and monitoring tools within the engineering and operations departments. Provide guidance and direction to the system performance, field operations, and RF planning teams. Assist with network system implementations as required.
Job Duties:
- Working with the business community to define and document business requirements
- Translating business requirements into viable system designs
- Assisting with the development of software applications
- Design and develop user reports
- Developing and executing test plans to ensure that applications fully meet the business requirements as specified in the system designs
- Development of system documentation and training manuals
- Delivery of system training
- Assisting with the deployment of software applications
- Providing system and user support for applications
- Meeting key delivery dates and providing status updates as appropriate

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or Computer Science or equivalent work experience
- Cisco Certified Network Associate is preferred (CCNA)
- 5+ years’ experience in the telecommunications industry
- 2+ years’ experience developing application software (gathering requirements, designing, developing, and deploying applications)
- 3+ years’ experience working with relational data models and developing reports
